Home again

Since school has started, I'm finding it a lot more difficult to get access to the computer. I mean, my children act as if their homework is more important than my blogging! ;)

Todd and I went on another excursion to Yellowstone. It will probably be the last time for a while. It was crowded, cold, rainy, we noticed few animals, but it was WONDERFUL!

We went on a drive to the top of a mountain near Island Park. We go to Island Park (near Yellowstone) several times a year but we had never explored the backcountry to the west.

The top of the mountain was shrouded in fog. The cool air was so inviting.

Every winding turn showed us something new.

Todd and I had a wonderful conversation and actually kicked around the idea of moving to the Yellowstone area after Larissa graduates high school in four years. Who knows?!

On our way home, we stopped at this gas station in Ashton, Idaho.

I really didn't think the trip could get any better. But it soooo did.

THEY SELL MY CUPS! Remember my obsession over a cup? (Read cup post here).

And I stocked up on even more of these babies.

Aren't they beautiful?

And while picking up the girls from their mom's house on the way home, I got to hold these little cuties.

A great weekend, indeed. And I think we're done traveling for a while. Maybe life can get back to normal again! (Ha!)

Love the cup addiction. Lil Sis and I have issues when it comes to cups too. When we eat out we love a place that has clear plastic cups with clear lids and clear straws. We would go out of our way to get a drink at the mall like this. It just tastes so cool and refreshing...LOL!

It looks so peaceful; and, how much better can it get with four adorable little kittens to end it off with. I love kittens!

Those kittens are so cute!!! OHH be still my heart! If only Mr. Incredible and children were not so deathly allergic to those little guys! I tried to sneak one in our house in one room only, and it was a definite NO GO! I tried to play that it was just psychological, sadly it was the real deal!

I love yellowstone! and you are too funny about those cups! I can only imagine your excitement!

MCF - I kept looking out for your car and was hoping to see you! You saw wolves and a black bear? Okay, it may be a while before I can speak with you again! ;)

Tell me details, chickie. Where did you see the animals?

Frump is right, what are you doing? These kids should be playing mindless video games instead of doing their homework. Miss you! m

I feel your "sharing computer pain"-children can be so cruel. I love how you guys do lots of road trips. And those kitties--how yummy they are! And I also have a question from looking at Kitchen Ditchers blog--does your sister really have an outhouse? Where does she live? And I'm thinking while you were collecting cups maybe Todd hopped on over to Missoula and stole that ATM!

We saw wolves frolicking on the bank of a river in Lamar Valley right across from the Ranger Station. Some nice people let us borrow their binoculars so we could see up close. We saw the bear on the way up to Tower Falls just sitting off the side of the road eating some foliage. I definitely need to get the photos on my blog.. Maybe tonight.
