Food, glorious food!

I have found the perfect antidote for beating the blues:

An early Thanksgiving dinner

Family

And lots of hugs

We had Thanksgiving dinner tonight at my mother-in-laws house. It was SCRUMPTIOUS! We are having dinner at my house on Thursday and I hope that my offerings are 1/8th as good as hers.

**Thanks to all of you wonderful friends who commented and sent me emails with advice for fighting discouragement. Your words touched my heart. Thank you! I feel soo much better tonight.

Have a great week!!

We love food!! Just last night as Superman and I were deciding what to cook for dinner, we started talking about Thanksgiving and he was like, "Why can't EVERY meal be Thanksgiving?!"

(Because we'd all weigh 100 lbs. more!)

But I'm glad family and food were able to pull you out of the blues.

I am SOOOOOOO looking forward to Thursday dinner. I am going to my MILs so last Sunday I made my little family (plus the missionaries) Thanksgiving dinner. It was good and we had lots of left overs. You would think I would be sick of turkey by now, but I am not.

SO happy you are feeling so much better. m

Your early thanksgiving dinner looks really good! How fun to get together early! Great photos! We are going to miss Thanksgiving all together since we are Canada right now! I'm not sure I'm up for the whole dinner thing, but we'll try something for fun even though we don't get the day off. It's hard to fight discouragement, as some things just don't make sense. I hope you are well and that your mind is clearer today! Take care, Michelle :)

That actually sounds smart. Maybe if we just work our way up to the fest, we won't gobble so much at the dinner table. Sounds so fun.

I am sorry I missed your discouragement post. I am so glad that everyone pulled through for you Red.

Food! I can't wait to eat! Gosh, why is it so comforting to eat?

Cause it tastes so good!

Except it's not so comforting when you have to lay down and suck your stomach in to get your jeans on the next day!
